Rijeka Airport - An Architectural Treasure

I was back in Croatia last week - a joy from beginning to end. And talking of the beginning and the ending... I love this airport, a perfect time capsule of architectural design from 1971.

Maybe its just me, or maybe its my era, but the stairwell in particular makes me happy
...the sun helps...obviously!

Thursday, 25 July 2013

Really Pleased to have two pieces shortlisted for this!
The show runs from 9th - 16th August, 10am - 6pm daily (and till 9pm on the 9th & 15th)

Angela Soulier Jewellery

Love the work by contemporary jeweller Angela Soulier on her new much so I own a piece - a beautiful necklace made from baby crocodile milk teeth... (don't worry, they fall out naturally and were carefully (!) collected by a crocodile owning friend of Angela's). Trying to imagine what the tooth fairy has to leave under such circumstances, but I digress...

Have a look at her website: Angela Soulier Jewellery

You will also be able to see her work as part of the Herefordshire Art Week,
7th - 15th September 2013
at The Workhouse Gallery & Café
Presteigne, Powys, LD8 2UF
